Market 36 Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf of our client based in Witham, on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will support the manufacturing process within a busy production environment, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, accurately and to quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Using hand and power tools
- Assisting in the manufacture of products in line with process instructions
- Using production machinery safely and reporting any issues to a Team Leader
- Lifting and handling heavy components when required
- Following all Health & Safety and PPE requirements
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Completing required documentation accurately and within set timescales
- Supporting various areas of production with a flexible approach
Experience, education & qualifications
- Previous production or manufacturing experience advantageous
- Ability to follow instructions and work to efficiency targets
- Strong work ethic with good attention to detail
- Willingness to carry out manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
- Understanding of basic Health & Safety practices
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Friday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Salary: £12.21 per hour
