Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Electrical Technician on behalf of our client based in Earls Colne, on a temp-to-perm basis. Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working with vehicle electrics and wiring, with strong attention to detail and confidence using hand tools in a workshop environment.
Roles & Responsibilities- Wiring wire looms together and routing wiring through vehicles.
- Carrying out basic soldering on electrical components.
- Sorting and assembling various wiring pins and connectors.
- Testing and fault-finding on vehicle electrical systems.
- Removing and installing car seats as part of electrical install requirements.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to high quality standards.
- Maintaining a tidy and organised working area.
- Undertaking other general duties within the workshop as required.
- Previous experience working with vehicle electrics or wiring harnesses (preferred).
- Basic soldering experience required.
- Prior experience using hand and power tools is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and methodical working approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Health and safety conscious.
Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm or 8:00am – 2:00pm
Benefits: Free on-site parking, canteen facilities, and potential for a permanent contract following the temporary period.
