Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a senior paint sprayer on behalf of our client based in Braintree, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have paint spraying experience, ideally with prior supervisory duties, Roles & Responsibilities * Spraying a variety of timber products using water-based and PU (polyurethane) paints * Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding, filling, and priming with a keen eye for quality * Mixing and colour-matching paints to required specifications * Maintaining spray booths and equipment to a high standard * Working to production deadlines while maintaining a clean and safe work environment * Supervising and conducting a team of 2. * Quality checking finished items before they leave the spray shop * Following health and safety guidelines at all times Experience, education & qualifications * Previous experience in a spray-painting role, ideally within a joinery, furniture, or timber manufacturing environment * Strong knowledge of both water-based and PU spray systems * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively * Good understanding of health and safety within a spray environment Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7AM – 4PM, Friday 6AM – 12PM Salary: £19.50 per hour Benefits: Free on-site parking, canteen facilities Market 36 Recruitment Ltd cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, HR & Finance & ITAD.
