Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Press Brake Operative for a busy fabrication workshop. This role involves producing parts to engineering drawings, operating machinery, and supporting day-to-day fabrication operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Production of parts to drawings, or assisting others in part production
- Operating shear, CNC punch, CNC press brake, notcher, and similar machinery
- Working alongside the fabrication team
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop
- Packing and delivering goods to another site using the company vehicle
- Supporting all aspects of operations within a busy sheet metal fabrication environment
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with sheet metal machinery in a production environment or demonstrable transferable skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
- Ability to work effectively within a small team
- Full UK driving licence required
Working Pattern & Benefits
- Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 16:00, Friday 07:00 – 12:00
- Salary: £33,000 per year
- Benefits: In-house and external training provided
