Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Line operative on behalf of our client in Halstead, on a temporary to perm basis. The successful candidate will be working within a busy production environment, carrying out general production line and food handling duties. This is a non-heavy lifting role, making it suitable for candidates who are comfortable working at a steady pace and following food hygiene and quality control procedures.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Working on a busy production line
- Handling consumable food products
- Carrying out general food handling duties
- Quality checking products throughout the production process
- Ensuring products meet the required quality standards
- Packing and preparing products ready for dispatch
- Keeping the production and work areas clean and tidy
- Following health, safety and food hygiene procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Completing any other general production duties as required
Experience:
- Previous production, warehouse, food production or manufacturing experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work at a consistent pace
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working within a production line environment
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety
- Food handling experience would be beneficial
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am until 2pm.
