Market 36 Recruitment are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler on behalf of our client based in Bishops Stortford on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for an experienced Assembler to assemble, handle and process products to ensure quality and productivity is maintained.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Mechanical / Electro assembly involving wet and dry systems.
- Soldering & Crimping to a high standard.
- Use of hand tools, with some use of electrical hand tools.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Ability to understand exploded diagrams.
- Cooperate and work with all other production staff.
- Ensure all operations are complete and done correctly.
- Any other duties as required.
Experience, education & qualifications:
- Have an understanding of electromechanical and other necessary disciplines.
- Be organised and have the ability to prioritise multiple projects.
- Be proficient in verbal and written communication within a business and external customer satisfaction.
- Local and systematic approach to problem solving.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg required.
- Work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Salary: Up to £30,000 (DOE)
Benefits: 10.5% Salary Sacrifice pension scheme, 25 days holiday, 3 taken at Christmas for shutdown, plus bank holidays, PPE footwear up to the value of £35, Free eye care test plus £50 contribution to glasses, Annual Bonus target of 5%.
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:00
