Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fabricator / TIG Welder on behalf of our client based in Braintree.
The Opportunity
This role involves working within a manufacturing environment, fabricating and assembling components to specification using TIG welding techniques while ensuring high quality standards are maintained.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Fabricating and assembling metal components using TIG welding techniques
- Working from technical drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Using hand tools, power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Conducting quality checks on welds and fabricated components
- Working with materials such as steel and aluminium
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace in line with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and improve workflow efficiency
Successful candidates will have
- Proven TIG welding experience
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes including sheet metal and mechanical assembly
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and welding equipment
- Good mechanical knowledge and basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Previous experience working within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
