Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant and Operations Coordinator to join our team based in Braintree Town Centre, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Managing Director with tasks related to the day to day running of a growing recruitment agency and supporting the wider team wherever necessary. This role involves payroll and finance duties, facilities management, marketing tasks, administration, and any other tasks to support the Managing Director & wider recruitment team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to work with autonomy and make the role their own. There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to be put through relevant courses/qualifications.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Finance:
- Processing & managing all tasks relating weekly & monthly payroll
- Resolving invoicing queries
- Liaising with external accounts team
- Processing expenses & business overheads
- Maintaining a clean, professional office
- Managing any issues with technology etc.
- Ensuring all supplies are stocked weekly/monthly
- Liaising with external contractors/visitors
- Creating high quality, on brand content for both online and offline marketing
- Liaising with external parties & purchasing promotional merchandise
- Investigating upcoming events etc. and ensuring the team are prepared and have the relevant materials
- Managing company social media pages
- Staff engagement, including planning company events, incentives etc.
- Onboarding new members of staff
- Maintaining employee files
- Taking minutes & notes in meetings
- Overall responsibility for compliance
- Ensuring CRM system is maintained
- Any other tasks to support the managing director as necessary
Experience, Education and Qualifications
- Highly organised & proactive
- Professional & approachable
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks & prioritise deadlines
- Some experience in finance/payroll is beneficial but not essential
- Some experience in marketing is beneficial but not essential, a creative flair is desirable
- Strong administrative skills
- Attention to detail and high accuracy is essential
- Full training will be provided
Hours: Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm and Friday 9am – 4pm (part time hours may be considered for the right candidate)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (may be negotiable for the right candidate)
