As Delivery Manager for Innovation, you will contribute to shaping our Technology Innovation and GenAI roadmap by facilitating the delivery of emerging technologies and translating them into practical, early‑stage solutions. This role blends day to day delivery with strategic thinking, supporting both GenAI initiatives and broader technology innovation to inform and influence our strategic roadmap.

You will:

  • Understand the challenges faced by the company and clients and how integrating GenAI and other emerging technologies can deliver significant benefit
  • Identify and deliver a pipeline of proofs of concept and projects that align with our Innovation strategy
  • Coordinate the Innovation team and continuously improve our Ways of Working

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a collaborative, high performing innovation team
  • Champion and embed MVP & PoC principles in the team
  • Own the end to end innovation delivery pipeline, managing intake, prioritisation and flow of the innovation work in line with strategic priorities, capacity, and risk.
  • Continuously evolve lightweight, fit for purpose delivery practices (e.g. Kanban, Agile) to support fast, safe experimentation
  • Ensure adherence to internal governance and standards, such as our SDLC, AA, AI Policy and other processes
  • Manage stakeholders, both internal and amongst technology partners
  • Support business users with adoption and troubleshoot issues
  • Facilitate the transition from PoC to Production

Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Strong practical experience using Agile and Kanban methodologies to manage flow, prioritisation, and delivery of innovation work in environments with evolving requirements.
  • Compelling communicator and influencer, strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to challenge and shape business change from a technology and commercial perspective
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment
  • Systems thinker with strong focus of the right outcomes for our customers
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and with a certain amount of ambiguity in requirements
  • Commercial mindset, able to identify opportunities

Preferred:

  • Previous experience of managing projects, and delivering within an Agile Framework
  • Experience with innovation accelerators
  • Experience with GenAI and an understanding of its potential impact on business
