Are you an animal lover looking for an exciting opportunity in customer service? Located in Lakeside, Portsmouth, we are expanding rapidly and seeking dedicated individuals with a positive attitude and a knack for customer service to join our friendly team!

Location: Lakeside, North Harbour, Portsmouth

Start Date: 4th June

About the role

We are looking for people with a passion for animals to join our dynamic Customer Service Team at our Portsmouth Lakeside office. If you are searching for a new challenge, looking to kickstart your career in an office environment, or simply love interacting with customers and hearing about their pets, we want to hear from you.

Role responsibilities

  • Answering customer calls and queries
  • Managing the customer through the lifecycle of their insurance policy
  • Dealing with customer renewals and new business calls
  • Having an energetic approach and building rapport with customers
  • Contacting and dealing with customers via telephone and email
  • General admin
  • Liaising with veterinary practices, breeders, and policyholders
  • Collating and posting of documents

About you

  • Previous customer service experience – retail and hospitality experience is also welcome
  • Happy dealing with customers via the telephone
  • Hard working and personable

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week on a 3-week rotational shift pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with a half-day on Saturday and a day off in lieu
  • Week 3: Monday to Friday 1pm-8pm
  • Please note – no holiday can be taken within the first 6 weeks of training
