Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to perform a key role within the Insurer relations team at Markerstudy business.

Reporting to the Head of Insurer Relations, you will manage key insurer partnerships across multiple Commercial Insurance brands.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and oversee key relationships with our key Business partners.

You will shape our products and customer propositions in a fast-paced environment and deliver commercial value and strong outcomes for Policyholders.

The role involves working on a hybrid basis, a mixture of home working and working within our core UK based offices. Travel will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise data insights to drive improvements in customer conversion and retention rates.
  • Develop and manage insurer relationships to improve our product footprint, maximise cost-efficiency, and enhance overall business outcomes.
  • Ensure that target markets are clearly identified and matched to products that create strong customer outcomes.
  • Ensure that our products provide fair value to our customers.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with Insurer partners
  • Analysis of external and internal MI to monitor and improve performance and support the growth of our business
  • Analyse quote data by insurer to identify opportunities at both new business and renewal
  • Develop and implement strategic plans with Insurer panel, in conjunction with the Manager / Head of Insurer relations for Commercial lines products
  • Ensure credibility with Insurers by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and trends, our existing and new products and competitor products and services
  • Work with internal partners to ensure shared awareness across the business of key target customer segments for our Insurer panel
  • Create clear and concise reports to support Insurer review/strategy meetings

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in Insurance / Commercial lines
  • Experience of analysing data to drive sound business decisions
  • Proven experience of building and maintaining remote networks and relationships
  • Proven experience managing internal stakeholder relationships
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proactive with the ability to drive continuous improvements
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills
  • Ability to travel to Insurer strategy meetings in London and potentially around the UK
