Looking for a role that will have a meaningful impact with strategic business planning? We're looking for a Senior Business Improvement Specialist to lead high-impact transformation initiatives across our International business, driving process excellence, productivity gains, and measurable benefits that support our ambitious growth strategy.

The Business Improvement Team partners with senior stakeholders across our International business to identify and deliver strategic process improvements that drive operational excellence, efficiency, and sustainable growth. Supporting all regions outside of the Americas, the team plays a key role in enhancing core business systems and processes in collaboration with the wider Change Delivery function. As part of the International division's ambitious five-year growth strategy, the Business Improvement Specialist will lead high-impact improvement initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure projects are effectively planned, resourced, implemented, and embedded into live operations, with clear and measurable business benefits delivered.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with the Head of Business Improvement to shape business improvement projects aligned to strategic priorities
  • Lead a mix of departmental, cross functional and cross divisional process improvement projects, including where AI and other automation technologies are involved
  • Engage with senior leaders across International to find and scope team based improvement opportunities and determine how best to deliver
  • Take a leading role in our Business Improvement practitioner network developing business-wide capability to achieve local improvements
  • Contribute to our process improvement framework including training, governance, KPIs, template libraries
  • Support the organisation to embed and use process performance metrics
  • Support the wider Change Delivery Team by assisting with process design activities on strategic system developments/improvements
  • Promote the value of business improvement across the organisation

Our must-haves:

  • A track record of process improvement projects of a cross functional and/or multi-geographic basis
  • An ability to measure improvement benefits and promote these across the organisation
  • Demonstrable experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies to Black Belt
  • Excellent problem solving skills with deep knowledge of root cause analysis and risk reduction techniques
  • Proven ability to use data analysis to underpin improvement decisions
  • A positive mindset to improvement and change
  • Ability to work independently on projects
  • A hands-on approach, with high energy levels and self-motivation
  • Capable of forming trusting relationships with senior stakeholders
  • A strong ability to communicate and influence both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience within Insurance, in particular the London Market would be useful
