You'll work across a wide range of Professional & Management Risks, charity and not-for-profit business, gaining exposure to multiple trading platforms including Acturis, Websure and IDEAL.

  • Underwriting commercial insurance risks within your delegated authority
  • Managing renewals and mid-term adjustments across a varied portfolio
  • Working closely with brokers to retain and secure business
  • Using underwriting judgement to assess risk and make effective decisions
  • Developing strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders
  • Working across multiple systems including Acturis and broker trading platforms
  • Prioritising and managing workloads within a fast-paced renewals environment
  • Supporting wider team initiatives and projects

What we're looking for:

  • Commercial insurance underwriting experience
  • Strong organisational and workload management skills
  • A technical and analytical approach to underwriting
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Highly desirable: Acturis experience
  • Commercial renewals experience
  • Experience within Professional, Management Risk or Charity insurance products
  • CII qualifications or active CII studies
