Overview
In this role you will turn data into insights that support portfolio management and pricing for a growing insurer. You join a new Portfolio Management & Pricing function, working with actuaries, underwriters and business leaders to enable smarter underwriting and profitable growth. You’ll shape analytics, dashboards and reports that influence strategic decisions, while exploring AI-driven improvements. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with high impact from day one.

Responsibilities
- Extract and interpret data from multiple sources to support portfolio management and pricing
- Support portfolio performance and profitability analysis
- Produce management information and reporting packs for decision-making
- Assist with Quarterly Business Reviews and strategic reporting
- Support pricing model calibration and performance monitoring
- Create dashboards and analytical tools for stakeholders
- Identify trends, opportunities and emerging risks within the portfolio
- Collaborate with underwriters and business stakeholders to inform decisions
- Explore AI, automation and new technologies to improve efficiency and insight generation
Key requirements
- Degree in a numerical discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics or Data Science)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel capability
- Experience with SQL, Python, Databricks or similar data tools
- Ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets
- Strong communication skills with stakeholder engagement
