As a Broker Development Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the team leaders in developing strategic relationships that drive growth for the business. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders across the company and build strong connections internally and externally.
What You’ll Do- Explore opportunities for growth, including:
- Expanding into new geographies, markets, and business classes.
- Identifying new distribution channels.
- Through your research and relationship developments, suggest ways to strengthen our profile with brokers.
- Build effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support account management activities such as diary management, invoice processing, action tracking, and meeting preparation.
- Liaise with brokers and internal teams to facilitate strategy meetings, share updates, and identify opportunities.
- Act as a central contact point for broker enquiries and help them navigate our organisation.
- Prepare materials for governance meetings, regulatory reports, and internal updates.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives such as ESG, digital transformation, and events.
- Assist in organising hospitality and networking events.
- Knowledge of the insurance market.
- A willingness to re-ignite your communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to take clear notes and manage information effectively.
- Competent IT skills and willingness to learn new systems (refresher courses on IT systems will be given in your first week).
- A desire to re-build confidence to contribute to strategic discussions and broker engagement.
