The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting IT Operations by performing a range of operational and analytical activities as well as driving improvements across the team that all contribute to the team’s efficiency and effectiveness.

The opportunity:

For a data driven candidate this 12-month FTC role will be responsible for providing support across all of IT Service Operations for both data insight, performance quality, and improvements. Your main focus will be on data analytics, ensuring ITSM processes are performing and playing a key role in driving improvements to drive quality and efficiency.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Ability to create ad-hoc reports to support IT operations (experience of either using performance analytics in ServiceNow or Power BI).
  • Driving small improvements projects, assist in creating the user stories and drive delivery.
  • Co-ordinating Europe and APAC service improvement plans, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Create the monthly scorecard, and co-ordinate across the function for performance insights.
  • Co-ordinate with deskside to process hardware orders and track inventory.
  • Track our compliance on IT Controls and co-ordinate monthly calls to review.
  • Monitor the quality of incident and service request handling. Identify patterns of recurring issues, propose improvements, and collaborate with the team to implement best practices for timely and accurate issue resolution.
Our must-haves:
  • Experience of ITSM Tooling and Data Dashboard Tooling (Preferred ServiceNow / Performance Analytics).
  • Extensive data analysis skills, for a broad range of operational tasks.
  • Practical experience in an IT Operations environment.
  • Use of Jira and backlog management.
  • Detail Orientated, Analytical and Data Driven.
  • General Knowledge of IT Asset Management processes.
  • Good experience of Microsoft office tools. Strong ability with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in driving delivery of improvements and continual improvement mindset and high levels of customer focus.
  • Previous IT Background, ideally in Service Operations or IT Service Management experience.
