Job Location: Southampton, Hampshire, SO14 (Nr St Marys Stadium)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm

We are working with a manufacturer of Windows and Doors who are looking to recruit for a Trade Counter Assistant to join the business. Working from their site in Southampton you will be responsible for delivering the following duties and supporting the efficient operation of the trade counter.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Updating the system with goods in / out
  • Contacting customers to advise orders are ready to collect and arranging collections
  • Stock management and organisation
  • Recording of stock level and stock movement
  • Keeping the Yard clean and tidy
  • Occasional driving delivering of goods to local customers
  • This role will involve manual handling and working outdoors in various conditions

Qualifications

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • PC literate with experience of using in-house systems, Outlook, etc
  • Excellent attention to detail to maintain accurate records
  • Hold a full clean UK driving licence
  • A forklift licence is preferred; however, training will be provided
