Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with an earlier finish on a Friday
A leading manufacturing company who are growing year on year are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Assistant to support the Supply Chain team with Purchasing & Planning.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Buyer and Planner to provide administrative support
- Creating, updating and tracking of works orders
- Support the procurement team with placing purchase orders
- Maintaining accurate records for supplier information, order confirmations and deliveries
- Maintain and assist with document control
Applicant Requirements
- 1–2 years experience in supply chain, logistics or manufacturing
- Basic understanding of supply chain, planning and procurement practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- High attention to detail
