Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week — Monday to Thursday 7.30am–4.00pm; Friday 7.30am–12.30pm

Salary: £14.00–£14.50 per hour / £26,936–£27,898 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a number of Assemblers for a well-known and respected Avionics manufacturer based in Bournemouth. You will be working on new and serviceable products, assembling new units and assisting with taking units apart that have been sent back for service.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new units and serviceable products to drawing and work instructions.
• Assist with taking units apart that have been sent back for service.
• Log and track products using a computer system.
• Learn basic testing procedures for products as required.
• Utilise any soldering or electronics experience to support assembly tasks (advantageous).

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to work to drawings and work instructions.
• Proficiency with computer systems to log and track products.
• Willingness and ability to learn basic testing procedures for products.
• Any soldering or electronics experience is advantageous.
