We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Data Services Associate with a strong background in customer service and data analysis. This role is well suited to someone who is comfortable working with both technical and non-technical audiences, and who enjoys providing clear, practical guidance and support. Over time, this role will require working from our Manchester office or a customer site at least three days per week. Due to the nature of our work with UK public sector organisations, this role is subject to security vetting. Mark43 will sponsor and manage the vetting process, and employment is contingent on the successful candidate obtaining and maintaining NPPV3 clearance.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate closely with public safety professionals, developing a strong understanding of their operational needs and translating them into effective technical solutions.
  • Provide expert support and guidance to customers, helping them get the most value from our products and services.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service, supporting non-technical users through complex processes with patience and clarity.
  • Build and maintain data analytics dashboards and reports that support public safety operations and decision-making.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops for public safety personnel to improve confidence and capability in using our technology.
  • Act as a senior point of contact between customers and internal technical teams, ensuring clear communication and strong working relationships.
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback to help shape ongoing improvements to our products and services.
  • Work with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Stay informed about developments in public safety technology and data analytics.
  • Contribute to longer-term thinking around public safety data management and analytics.

What You'll Need

  • The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with public safety professionals.
  • Strong listening skills and an ability to guide non-technical audiences through technical topics.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage customer needs, internal requests and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a business analyst or data analyst role.
  • Experience leading projects and supporting or mentoring more junior team members.
