Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Support Workers to provide person centred support to children, young people and adults with a disability. Part-time and Full-time roles available

Responsibilities

  • To have a passion to make a difference.
  • Be responsible for supporting children, young people and adults with a disability to provide bespoke, personalised 1:1, 2:1, overnight and group support.
  • To support children, young people, and adults to be as independent as they can be. To support children, young people, and adults with a disability in a variety of settings to achieve outcomes as defined in their agreed contract of support/ individual support plan.
  • To work flexibly with service users and their families, this may include working evenings, overnights, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Use imagination and creativity to deliver diverse personalised support.
  • Planning, organising, and booking activities/events for service users.
  • Completing supporting documentation for the people you will work with, this may include support plans, evaluation forms, behaviour forms etc.
  • To support the needs of the service users including complex disabilities, behaviours, personal care, cooking, cleaning, and administration of medication.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
  • Ensure all relevant training is completed and attended.
  • Evidence of continuous commitment to professional development whilst displaying a passion for the area of work.

Preferred

  • Full UK Driving Licence, access to own vehicle with Business Insurance.
  • Experience of working in the Health and Social Care Sector.
  • Previous experience of working with vulnerable Children and Adults with a disability.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From Β£12.50 per hour
