About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join our growing team in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in water hygiene or Legionella control to work across a varied portfolio of sites, ensuring compliance and safety of water systems in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine water hygiene monitoring tasks, including:
- Temperature checks
- Water sampling
- Tank inspections
- Calorifier inspections
- TMV servicing and fail-safe checks
- Perform cleaning and disinfection of water systems, including cold water storage tanks and hot water systems
- Assist with remedial plumbing works such as pipework modifications, minor installations, and removal of dead legs
- Complete accurate service reports and records using company systems
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
