The Role
We are recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to support a major UK supermarket contract across Peterborough and the Home Counties. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and servicing across a range of commercial HVAC systems in retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
- PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
- Service and repair boilers, pumps, fans, AHUs and FCUs
- Complete minor installations and alterations
- Fault-find and report non-repairable issues with recommendations
- Order parts in line with procedures
- Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
Essential Requirements
- NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in HVAC or equivalent
- ACS Commercial Gas (COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in commercial PPM and reactive maintenance
- Ability to work at height and in confined spaces
- PDA/mobile system experience
Desirable
- Domestic ACS (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1)
- F-Gas Category 1 (2079)
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
Call-Out Rota
- 1-in-4 on-call rota
- Double Time weekends
- Time and a Half weekdays
