About the Role
We’re working with a well-established roofing and building services contractor with over 25 years of industry experience to recruit an Operations Manager with roofing experience. This is a hands-on role overseeing day-to-day operations within the roofing division, alongside responsibility for estimating and commercial input across projects.
The Role
- Office-based (5 days per week) with occasional site visits
- Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (flexibility where workload allows)
- Active within a busy roofing division delivering UK-wide projects
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing day-to-day roofing operations
- Producing estimates, quotations and cost plans
- Reviewing drawings, specs and tender documents
- Managing projects from enquiry through to completion
- Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors
- Acting as key technical and operational contact
- Conducting site visits as required
- Supporting wider admin and operational functions
- Driving commercial control and profitability
- Ensuring compliance and strong H&S standards
