We are looking for a reliable and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join our growing team in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in water hygiene or Legionella control to work across a varied portfolio of sites, ensuring compliance and safety of water systems in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine water hygiene monitoring tasks, including:
- Temperature checks
- Water sampling
- Tank inspections
- Calorifier inspections
- TMV servicing and fail-safe checks
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in water hygiene or Legionella control
- Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Requirements
- NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing or related field
- Legionella Awareness / Water Hygiene training
- Experience working in commercial, industrial, or healthcare environments
