One of our clients is looking for a domestic gas service & repair engineer to work within social housing properties. This role is based in Thurrock, and our client is looking for an experienced domestic gas breakdown engineer to come into a fast paced, high-volume environment to showcase their skills.

Working hours are: Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm (1 hour for lunch), call out rota.

Salary: £42,000 plus van and fuel card.

Main duties for the domestic gas engineer:

  • Service, maintain and repair various gas systems and hot water systems.
  • Perform gas safety checks and gas inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with gas safety standards.
  • Diagnose and repair technical issues and identify defects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all gas work carried out.

In return the company will provide you with a fully equipped van, gas flue analyser and on hand technical advice when needed. Communication is key.

Qualifications:

  • Gas qualifications: CENWAT, CCN1, HTR1, CKR1 - ESSENTIAL.
  • At least 5 years’ experience within the industry.
  • Clean DBS and manual driving license.
