We are looking for an experienced ASHP Renewable Heating Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. The role involves the installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems in both residential and commercial properties. This position requires a knowledgeable, reliable professional with strong technical skills in renewable energy systems, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to solving complex problems.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and maintain renewable heating systems in residential and commercial settings
- Carry out routine maintenance to ensure systems operate at optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heating system faults
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely completion of projects
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns professionally
- Valid domestic gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
- NICEIC Air Source Heat Pumps certification
- NICEIC Water Regulations qualification
- NICEIC Unvented Water Systems G3 qualification
- NICEIC Energy Efficiency qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven practical experience as an ASHP Renewable Heating Engineer
- Strong technical understanding of renewable heating systems and wider environmental/energy efficiency principles
- Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Professional, friendly approach with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and tenants
- Experience with Solar PV and/or Solar Thermal systems
- Competitive Salary: [Β£35,000 - Β£41,000] (depending on experience)
