Gas Engineer
Location: Ipswich
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + OTE
Role Overview
We are seeking skilled and motivated Gas Engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating systems across a range of domestic properties, ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing and maintenance of heating systems in domestic properties
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and effectively
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with clients and tenants
- Provide clear updates on job progress and complete required documentation (electronic and manual)
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH compliance
- Manage stock responsibly, ensuring necessary parts are available for scheduled works
Skills & Experience
- Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications (essential):
- CCN1
- CENWAT
- HTR1
- CKR1
- OFTEC qualification (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Proven experience in domestic gas maintenance
- Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
- Professional, approachable manner with strong communication skills
