Domestic Gas Installation Engineer – Derby and surrounding areas (PAYE)

Location: Derby and surrounding areas

Salary: Β£40,300 per annum

Hours: Monday-Friday, 07:30-17:30

Additional: 30 minutes travel time at both ends of the day (contracted but not included in salary)

Saturday Rota: 13 rostered Saturdays per year (approx. 1 in 4), 08:00-16:00

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Installation Engineer to join our Derby team. You will be responsible for installing and upgrading domestic gas boilers and full heating systems to a high standard, ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations and company procedures.

Work will include boiler replacements, system upgrades, heating conversions, and associated pipework alterations. Accuracy in commissioning paperwork and job reporting is essential, as all work is managed through our digital job management system on a company phone.

You will be expected to work efficiently, maintain excellent customer service standards, and uphold health and safety compliance at all times.

  • Minimum 5 years\’ experience in domestic gas installations
  • Strong experience in boiler swaps and full heating system installations
  • Essential: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
  • Desired: Unvented (G3), LPG (Permanent & Recreational)
