One of our clients is looking for an experienced Water Supply Pipe (WSP) Lead Engineer to join their expanding team. It is a hands‑on leadership role where you will take the lead on water supply pipe works, including leak detection, repairs, and full installations using moling and trenching methods. You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality work while supporting and guiding engineers on site. What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading water supply pipe works across residential properties
  • Carrying out leak detection, spot repairs, and full pipe installations
  • Ensuring all work meets current regulations and passes inspection the first time
  • Supporting and coordinating jobs from the wider contracting team
  • Delivering excellent customer service on every job
  • Working safely in line with H&S policies, RAMS, and company procedures

What They're Looking For

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 2 Plumbing (or higher) / City & Guilds Level 2
  • Proven experience in water supply pipe repairs and installations

Desirable:

  • WIAPS knowledge or accreditation
  • Experience with moling and trenching
  • CAT & Genny trained
  • Streetworks (Level 1 or 2)
  • Shoring and excavation experience

You’ll also need:

  • Strong communication skills
  • A proactive, problem‑solving attitude
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
