One of our clients is looking for a domestic gas operative to work within social housing properties. This role covers SS and RM postcodes and requires an experienced domestic gas service and breakdown engineer to deliver in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities

  • Service various gas systems and appliances
  • Analyse, fault‑find and carry out repairs on domestic heating systems
  • Perform gas safety checks and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with gas safety standards
  • Support emergency works on a call‑out rota
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all gas work performed

In return the company will provide a fully equipped van, a gas flue analyser and on‑hand technical advice when needed. Communication is key.
