As my Personal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in helping me navigate daily activities while living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a condition that affects mobility from the neck down, so you will be expected to assist me with all aspects of personal care including washing, toiletting, grooming, dressing, getting me comfortable in my wheelchair, repositioning throughout the day and feeding. All tasks to be done with the utmost professionalism, respect and dignity.

Prior experience as a carer is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
My life is filled with social activities, including football matches, motorsports, cinema, music concerts and the great outdoors. Although the job includes many perks there is an emphasis on the care side, which there will be a lot of and it can become tenuous at times, so patience, keeping calm and being respectful are essential traits.
