As the Social Media & Advocacy Manager you will own and deliver the UK social media, influencer, and advocacy strategy to build brand relevance, community engagement, and known consumers. The role exists to ensure the brand shows up credibly and consistently in culture through digital first execution, while translating global brand direction into locally relevant impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Social Media Management
    • Daily Social Listening to find out what consumers are talking about and creating content.
    • Own day-to-day running of all White Claw UK social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
    • Create and schedule monthly content calendars aligned with brand plans and global/local assets
    • Deliver reactive, real‑time content around trends, culture, and brand moments
    • Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to amplify IRL experiences (festivals, events) through social
  • Content & Channel Performance
    • Manage UK content pipeline – briefing, creating, and curating content fit for the UK market
    • Monitor performance with monthly reporting and dashboards, working with the global digital team on data accuracy and insights
    • Apply a test‑and‑learn approach to formats, captions, and scheduling
    • Use paid social budgets to boost high‑performing content and optimise reach/frequency
    • Weekly media optimisation with media agency and monthly reports to the wider business
  • Influencer Strategy & Advocacy
    • Own the UK influencer strategy from micro to macro, coordinating with agencies
    • Lead third‑party influencer activations and ensure alignment across stakeholders
    • Manage our White Claw UK Advocacy programme, integrating content creators, superfans, and brand fans into our marketing ecosystem
    • Leverage UGC, D2C platforms, and rewards to deepen connection and drive engagement
  • Data, Compliance & Reporting
    • Identify and execute first‑party data capture opportunities via social and advocacy
    • Stay close to legal and compliance requirements, working with legal and internal teams on T&Cs
    • Use social listening, trend reports, and competitor insights to shape the roadmap
    • Be proactive in spotting new platform opportunities or content formats to test

What You Have

  • 4+ years in a social media or digital content role (brand side only)
  • Strong copywriting and creative direction skills with a clear understanding of brand tone
  • Experience managing influencers and advocacy programmes
  • Comfortable with data – not afraid to dig into dashboards and spot what’s working
  • Passion for culture, trends, and digital innovation
  • Comfortable owning a paid social budget and working closely with media teams
  • Highly collaborative – able to work across global and local teams
  • Previous drinks or lifestyle brand experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree would be an asset
