The salary is up to £30,000 (DOE) plus commission and company benefits. A retention-led, relationship-driven commercial role within a premium international aviation events portfolio. Are you passionate about sales, relationship building, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are looking for a Delegate Account Executive to join our high-performing, respected commercial team delivering premium international aviation and ground handling events. This role is ideal for someone in their first or second sales position who is serious about building a long-term career in consultative sales.

You will take full responsibility for delegate retention across a portfolio of 5 global aviation conferences and 1 large scale exhibition, working closely with the Commercial Director to manage rebooking strategies both pre-event and onsite. This is not transactional sales. Our events operate at the highest level of the aviation industry, and success in this role depends on empathy, care, professionalism, and the ability to build trusted relationships both over the phone and face-to-face at live events around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of delegate retention across a portfolio of 4+ international events.
  • Support exhibition booth rebooking onsite, ensuring strong client engagement and commercial outcomes.
  • Become an expert in the brands premium networking tools and be able to successfully demo its value offering to new and existing clientele in the build up to events.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior industry professionals across the aviation and ground handling sectors.
  • Deliver exceptional levels of customer service via phone, email, and in person at global events.
  • Research companies, understand account structures, and identify key decision-makers.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market movements, and competitor activity.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and wider commercial teams to maximise retention and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management.

  • Experience in events, exhibitions, delegate sales, or B2B environments.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a sales role (or strong evidence of commercial drive and ambition).
  • Exposure to account management or retention-based sales models.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Interest in aviation, travel, or international business sectors.
