As part of an inspirational teaching team you will nurture and support a small group of pupils who have a diagnosis of Autism or Complex Needs. You will play a vital role in helping them develop independence and confidence, and you will grow your own career through our extensive CPD programme and supportive leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Support the teaching of pupils with Autism or Complex Needs in a small group setting.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to secure the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Demonstrate patience and persistence in helping pupils develop their independence.
  • Utilise good literacy and numeracy skills to support classroom activities.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential; we welcome professionals from mainstream schools or those new to the role.
  • A passion for supporting children with additional educational needs and motivation to meet the challenges that come with this work.
  • Strong commitment to professional development and the possibility of undertaking Teacher Training.
  • Good communication, collaboration and organisational skills.
