Our client; a womenswear brand who pride themselves with their strong brand ethos and premium quality are looking for a Production Co-ordinator to join them and strengthen their production team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a junior candidate who has experience working within a Premium level brand to join them and work hands on through the process and join a growing brand.
You must be someone who understands the end-to-end production critical path. It is an exciting opportunity for someone to come in and hit the ground running.
I am also open to any graduates with relevant internship experience.
This role will be responsible for:
- Manage and drive the critical path working across multi product categories
- Work along with the Production Manager on system management but take responsibility for raising the official orders and placing the production orders with the relevant suppliers
- Chase and track all samples required for bulk approval, ensuring comments are given to the factory in a timely manner and all queries followed up
- Provide regular updates to the teams on the production schedule, working through any issues proactively but also ensuring minimal delay to delivery
- Manage quality control on all shipment samples against the approved samples to ensure samples are correct prior to shipment approval
- Chase through and attain the inspection reports for all orders prior to shipment, following up to ensure the goods are shipped as agreed and booked into the warehouse accordingly.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Production Manager and the wider team on supplier performance reviews, costings and capturing the correct data on the system as well as following up with any faulty goods claims with the factories
Our client is looking for someone who:
- Ideally experience in a similar role within Premium / Luxury fashion, as well as basic technical knowledge
- Be a self-starter and motivated as well as excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of communication with the factories and in-house team with the ability to build successful relationships
- A quick learner and able to work within a dynamic team, adapting to the daily needs of the team
- Excellent organisational skills and a strong team member who can also work well on your own as required and a strong work ethic
- Proven experience of critical path management, and working on excel and any other PLM system
- Being able to work in a team as well as proactively independent when required
- Strong all-round IT skills, including working with Zedonk
