Freelance Garment Technologist in London

My client is a leader in their field, refined Luxury Womenswear, who are known for their outstanding quality with an emphasis on Sustainability. We are looking for a Garment Technologist to support them on a part time basis (3 days a week) for a period of 3-4 months. I am open to hear from candidates who are either looking for a short-term FTC with flexibility or a Freelancer who has some availability to support on this project. Working with the team through the process from development to production and quality checking, this role will support the team to achieve deadlines whilst ensuring the high-quality standards that resonate with the brand. Review samples at all stages from development through to production, providing feedback whilst ensuring the design aesthetic is achieved Drive quality inspections on samples and bulk garments, identifying and reporting any issues, inhouse and externally off site Keep all tech packs and workbooks updated at each stage of the process through all fittings and quality checks. Proven experience within High End Womenswear brands and experience in technical development, garment tech or quality control Strong attention to detail with a passion for quality and consistency. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Flexible attitude and a strong work ethic coupled with Excellent Communication skills. Salary shown is indicative of a full time role, salary will be pro rata’d for the days / length of contract agreed****
