We have a fantastic opportunity for the right applicant to join a winning team at Maritime Transport as a Purchase Ledger Supervisor in our Head Office in Felixstowe.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Supervision of a team of 6 who are responsible for processing all supplier invoices
  • Weekly and Monthly statement reconciliations
  • Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly payment runs
  • Month End processes
  • Approval of all payment runs
  • Review of invoice queries from each source system
  • Bank Detail approval and submission onto accounting system
  • Overall responsibility for the Purchase ledger
  • Development of departmental processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy is key
  • Experience of working with Excel and other Microsoft products
  • Fantastic time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to prioritise your workload and that of a team
