The Vacancy
We have a vacancy available for a Container Reach Stacker Driver based at Manchester Rail Freight Terminal, Trafford Park. If you have previous experience in Reach stacker driving or a valid Forklift truck with at least 2 years\’ experience then this could be the role for you. This Position is permanent and your total flexibility will be required to fulfil this challenging, yet rewarding role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading various sizes and weights of ISO shipping containers.
- Stacking containers in allocated areas.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery and a reasonable knowledge of how the machine works.
- Possessing the skills to operate Empty Container Handlers also, while not essential would be of great advantage, again Kalmar, Konecranes and Sany built machines is desired.
We are looking for candidates who have a flexible approach and can undertake a variety of production duties.
Candidates will be required to remain focused under pressure, be a team player and have good attention to detail to achieve an accurate, on time service to our customers and colleagues.
