We’re currently looking for a Container Estimator at our London Gateway Container Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, photographing and estimating all incoming containers in the depot.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Comply with all company health and safety policies
  • Inspect all incoming containers reporting on status and grade
  • Complete repair estimates for all damaged containers including photographic evidence
  • Control of traffic flow within the depot
  • Provide instructions to the ECH operators to meet the HGV requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in container depot environment
  • Working knowledge of IICL/CSC advantageous
  • Good organizational skills
  • Experience estimating damaged containers preferred
  • Excellent team player
  • Flexible attitude to an often-demanding role
