The Vacancy
Join a winning team at Maritime Transport! If you have experience within the container transport industry this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to join a market leader as a Transport Operator on a 4 on 4 off shift basis at our Doncaster iPort depot.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Dealing with multiple drivers
- Communicating with ports
- Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
- Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times
- Chasing drivers for ETAs and making sure they are on time
- Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
- Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
- Speaking to customers on possible delays advising ETAs
We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following
- Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential
- Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
- Must be happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
- Excellent UK geographical knowledge
- Can work on own initiative
- Quick and efficient problem solving skills

- Flexibility to meet the demands of the business
