This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in 19 days at 12:00 BST.

If you have experience within the container transport industry, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to join a market leader as a Transport Operator at our Bristol depot. Shift Pattern is Monday to Friday while working 1 in 4 Saturdays with rolling times from 06:00 to 19:00.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with multiple drivers.
  • Communicating with ports.
  • Booking delivery slots for entry in ports.
  • Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers' start times and finish times.
  • Chasing drivers for ETAs and making sure they are on time.
  • Rerouting jobs as and when needed.
  • Checking all PODs are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system.
  • Speaking to customers on possible delays advising them.

  • Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential.
  • Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal.
  • Excellent UK geographical knowledge.
