Duties & Responsibilities:
- Dealing with multiple drivers.
- Communicating with ports.
- Booking delivery slots for entry in ports.
- Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times.
- Chasing drivers for ETAs and making sure they are on time.
- Rerouting jobs as and when is needed.
- Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system.
- Speaking to customers on possible delays advising ETAs.
We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:
- Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential
- Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
- Excellent UK geographical knowledge.
- Can work on own initiative.
- Quick and efficient problem solving skills.
- Organised at all times.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of the business.
