We are seeking candidates with experience in container transport to join a market-leading team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Dealing with multiple drivers
  • Communicating with ports
  • Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
  • Using a transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times
  • Chasing drivers for ETAs and ensuring they are on time
  • Rerouting jobs as needed
  • Checking all PODs are matched with the correct jobs on the system
  • Speaking to customers about possible delays and advising ETAs

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential
  • Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
  • Excellent UK geographical knowledge
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Quick and efficient problem solving skills
  • Organised at all times
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the business
