We are searching for two Traffic Operators at our Liverpool depot. This role involves managing container transport operations on a busy intermodal network.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Dealing with multiple drivers
• Communicating with ports
• Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
• Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times
• Chasing drivers for ETAs and making sure they are on time
• Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
• Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
• Speaking to customers on possible delays advising ETA

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential
• Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
• Excellent UK geographical knowledge
• Can work on own initiative
• Quick and efficient problem solving skills
• Organised at all times
• Flexibility to meet the demands of the business
