We’re currently looking for a Reefer Engineer at our Felixstowe Depot. The successful candidate will carry out the daily repairs on all Reefers and gensets, including reefer PTI’s.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Comply with all company health and safety policies
- Complete PTI’s process on refrigerated containers
- To repair all damaged units as quickly as possible for return to service
- Set up reefer units for bookings including temperature and vent settings as per instructions from the shipping line
- Fit and remove gensets from reefer units and complete repairs and servicing as necessary
- Assist when needed with all the other aspects of yard/operation (including, steam cleaning, operating ECH/Forklift, control of traffic flow within the depot, flexi bags fitting/removal, GOH removal)
- Will be required to be on call 24 hours per day as part of a 3 week on call rota
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
- Forklift Driving experience advantageous but training can be provided
- ECH certification advantageous but training can be provided
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible attitude to an often-demanding role
- Excellent team player
- Full UK driver’s license
