Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line technical support to users via phone, email, and in person
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Manage and prioritise support tickets using the helpdesk system (Manage Engine)
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Administer user accounts (Active Directory / Microsoft 365) including permissions and group policies
  • Support and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications
  • Assist with network infrastructure support (switches, routers, Wi-Fi)
  • Support backup systems and basic server administration tasks
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset registers
  • Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and rollouts
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection policies

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in an IT support environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server 2022 and Microsoft 365
  • Awareness of Citrix and virtualisation
  • Experience with Active Directory and user account management
  • Understanding of basic networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience supporting printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience with backup solutions and endpoint security tools (desirable)
  • Experience with Intune
