Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing our customers daily volumes.
- Dealing internally with Maritime staff to manage any issues or problems.
- Dealing externally with our customer, ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times.
An understanding of the transport industry would be preferred but not essential. Working as part of a successful team, you will possess excellent communication skills and experience of dealing directly with customers. A working knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Excel is essential for the role.

To date, the company employs 3,000 personnel across 40+ sites including a network of strategic rail freight terminals, with a cutting-edge fleet of 1,300 Euro-6 trucks and over 50 container handlers servicing a number of trains, daily. Maritime has a proven track record as an intermodal operator, developing and delivering low carbon, container logistics solutions for first and final miles, and pioneering the modal shift of UK domestic distribution from road to rail.
In 2024, the company was acquired by Swiss-based global logistics and supply chain provider, MEDLOG S.A., supporting Maritime’s growth strategy and strengthening its market position as the UK’s leading provider of integrated road and rail freight logistics.
