Overview
We’re currently looking for a Container Repairer at our Liverpool Depot. The successful candidate will carry out the daily repairs on all damaged containers. This will include cutting, welding and spray painting.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Comply with all company health and safety policies
- To repair all damaged units as quickly as possible for return to service
- Basic carpentry to repair wooden floors
- Spray painting repair containers
- Gas cutting and welding to fix damaged containers
- Straightening of containers to ISO standards
- Fitting and repairing of tarpaulins
- Steam cleaning dry and reefer containers
- Operating ECH as business demands dictate
- Assist when needed with all the other aspects of yard/operation (including inspection and estimating, Flexi bags fitting/removal, GOH removal)
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a same role essential
- Gas Cutting
- Welding
- Fork Lift Driving experience
- Carpentry to a basic level
- ECH certification preferred but training can be provided.
- Excellent team player
- Flexible attitude to an often demanding role
