The role supports the MCA’s regulatory programme by providing robust economic and analytical advice, helping to ensure regulations, codes of practice and guidance are informed by high-quality evidence. You will work closely with policy, operational and analytical colleagues across the Agency and wider Department for Transport, supporting impact assessments, post implementation reviews and analytical assurance. As a Regulatory Analyst, you will lead the provision of robust analysis to inform the MCA’s regulatory programme, assure analytical work across the Agency and support effective policy delivery within the maritime sector.
